PD Movie – Attack from Space – 1964

Attack from Space is a 1964 film edited together for American television from films #5 and #6 of the 1957 Japanese short film series Super Giant.

Residents of the Emerald Planet send their superhero, Starman (Ken Utsui), to protect Earth from invaders. The invaders are from the Sapphire Galaxy and are called the Sapphireans. The Sapphireans kidnap the good Dr. Yamanaka and force him to use his spaceship against the Earth. Starman has to save everyone and blow up the enemy vessel, which looks a lot like the International Space Station.
