This is a ten-minute short film produced by the New York Stock Exchange. It stars Mr. Finchley, who has just received a $60/month raise. This cartoon encourages him to invest in a monthly plan to buy securities.
In addition to a basic description of the buying process, it also cautions against buying risky fly-by-night investments. And it gives a pretty honest description about price fluctuations.
Warning: Mr. Finchley has a very 1957 “average” home life.
Movie is in MP4 format.
